Made in Russia exhibitors held over 200 meetings with foreign customers

On 5 December 2022, Zdravookhraneniye 2022, the International Exhibition for Medical Engineering, Products and Consumables, opened at Expocentre Fairgrounds as part of Russian Health Care Week 2022.

For the first time group stands under the Made in Russia brand were organised. 30 Russian export-oriented leading companies took part in the collective showcase: AMICO, Vitalpharm, Geltek-Medica, Elatomsky Instrument Plant, Med Teco, Neurosoft, TD Plastmass Group, Hirana + , EMA Plant and others.

The opening ceremony was attended by Viktor Fisenko, First Deputy Minister of Health Care of Russia, Vasiliy Osmakov, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia, Nikita Gusakov, Senior Vice-President of the Russian Export Centre, Alexey Vyalkin, Director General of EXPOCENTRE AO and other officials.

The national showcase Made in Russia became one of the most noticeable at the Zdravookhraneniye exhibition. Its visitors could get acquainted with a wide range of high-tech medical products - from equipment for functional diagnostics, neurophysiology, audiology and rehabilitation to innovative bioplastic materials.

The showcase was visited by a large number of visitors from all over the world. During the five days of the exhibition, Russian participants held more than 200 meetings and negotiations with visitors from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Mongolia, Turkiye, Belarus, China, Cuba, and other countries.

For example, representatives of the Iranian Sormak Mining Company (sormakmine.com) visited the NELIAN Information Technology Centre's stand. The subject of negotiations was the terms of distribution of equipment for screening diagnostics in Iran.

Napoli OOO held a meeting with MSM Company (Cameroon), as a result of which foreign partners were interested in supplying Russian products to African countries (biopolymer coatings, haemostatic agents), as well as training opportunities for specialists.

As a result of the meeting with S.A. MEDICuba (Cuba), Promed OOO reached preliminary agreements to enter the market of Cuba and other Latin American countries.

At the stand of ZERTZ, representatives of the Iranian company Kavandish System got acquainted with samples of equipment and furniture, discussed the organisation of a joint project in Russia for the sale and assembly of equipment for gynaecology, otorhinolaryngology, dermatology and neurosurgery.  

TD Plastmass Group has successfully negotiated with the Turkish company TIPSAN for the supply of high-molecular polyethylene products for the manufacture of endoprostheses (hips and knees).

AMIKO held a number of meetings during the exhibition, which resulted in agreements to supply modern medical equipment for X-ray diagnostics to hospitals not only in Russia, but also in a number of foreign countries

On 8 December, as part of the conference programme for exhibitors of the Made in Russia group stands, a panel on "The geography of exports of Made in Russia medical equipment. Support measures, new opportunities, successful cases" was held. Viktor Doronkevich, representative of the REC in the Republic of Belarus, and Stanislav Levitsky, Director of the Rosatom Bel division of the State Corporation Rosatom in the Republic of Belarus, took part in the panel. They spoke about the current programme to modernize the Belarusian health care system, as well as about the opportunities for Russian companies manufacturing medical equipment to enter the Belarusian market and participate in investment projects supported by the REC.

The panel was followed by the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Centre for Expertise and Testing in Health Care of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and Electrontest OOO.

Another significant event was the panel "Participation of Russian manufacturers of medical equipment in infrastructure projects in the Republic of Belarus with the support of REC", where the Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Pinevich delivered a welcoming speech.

Igor Oborubov, General Director of Rusatom Healthcare, spoke about Rosatom's projects and experience of cooperation with Belarus in supplies of Russian medical equipment.

Dmitry Viltovsky, Managing Partner of Grata International in the Republic of Belarus told about important aspects of entering the Belarusian market and shared information necessary for the exporter to work successfully.

Natalia Tyshevich, Deputy Director of the National Centre for Marketing and Price Study of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, spoke about the specifics of the public procurement procedure in the field of healthcare and their digital ecosystem in action.

Russian exporters - participants of the Made in Russia group showcase noted that the Zdravookhraneniye 2022 exhibition allowed them to strengthen previously established contacts and expand contacts with foreign potential buyers. Russian exhibitors noted the high efficiency of participation in the exhibition and expressed their desire to take part in similar events in the future.
