The Russian Health Care Week is the largest health care project in Russia, which unites a series of international trade shows as well as congresses, forums, conferences, etc. Every year, its participants showcase and discuss the most relevant trends in Russian and global health care industry. It is included in the annual list of events of the Russian Ministry of Health Care.

The first edition of the Russian Congress on Immunobiological Shield of Russia is to be held with support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade. Its main topics are promotion of vaccination, epidemiological situation, and the National Immunization Calendar.

One of the main topics of this year's Russian Health Care Week is development of Russia health resorts and export of medical services. The National Medical Research Center for Rehabilitation and Balneology of the Russian Ministry of Health Care, the National Spa Association, the Health and Wellness Tourism Association, and the Russian Guild of Managers and Developers arrange the following events:

Week Highlights

Zdravookhraneniye, Healthy Lifestyle and MedTravelExpo. Medical Clinics, Health and Spa Resorts welcome about 1,000 exhibitors from all over Russia and 32 countries on the total area of over 40,000 sq m to showcase all types of medical equipment and products.

National pavilions are arranged by Brazil, China, Cuba, Czechia, Germany.

As part of the Russia-Greece Cross Year of Tourism, the Greek Tourism Organization organizes a B2B workshop and presentation of medical centres and services of Greece "Hippocrates invites you 2!"

Group stands are arranged by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade PharmMedProm 2018, Moscow manufacturers "Made in Moscow", manufacturers from Moscow, Novosibirsk, Penza and Tomsk regions, Rostec, Skolkovo, and the Federal Biomedical Agency.

Skolkovo shows products and developments of the residents of it biomedical cluster. PharmMedProm shows developments of Russian enterprises of the pharmaceutical, medical and rehabilitation industries, and pharmaceuticals developed within the State Program of Development of the Pharmaceutical and Medical Industry in 2013�2020.

The Expocentre for Counterfeit-Free Exhibitions project works on all exhibition days. It is aimed at minimizing counterfeit products showcased at exhibitions through providing consultations and clarifications regarding intellectual property, and rendering assistance in solving conflicts connected with violations of exclusive rights.

For the first time the Russian Health Care Week will be opened with the First MedTravelFest International Festival of Active Lifestyle and Health held as part of the MedTravelExpo 2018. Medical Clinics. Health and Spa Resorts. The main aim of the festival and exhibition is to promote health resorts and medical tourism. The programme is made up for individual customers who are interested in healthy lifestyle and nutrition, fitness, and health resorts. The festival will be opened by Irina Turchinskaya, a host of the Vzveshennye Lyudi (the Biggest Loser) TV show, fitness coach, author of weight loss exercises. The festival will show health resorts, diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation centers, insurance and assistance companies, specialized mass media. Its participants are physicians, balneologists, rehabilitation therapists, leading Russian and foreign massage therapists, specialists in preventive medicine, steam rooms, and well-known athletes.

For the first time, the Russian Health Care Week is co-located with the 17^th edition of the Moscow Health Assembly, which is organized by the Moscow City Government, Moscow Department of Health Care, Health Workers Union of Moscow, and supported by Expocentre AO. This large-scale annual event brings together doctors, researchers, heads and personnel of Moscow, federal and departmental health care centres and clinics, health care professionals, and public associations. This year the assembly includes more than 90 meetings, sessions and panels with Russian and foreign presenters participating. The Territory of Modern Achievements of Moscow Health Care will show the latest medical technologies, equipment and consumables. The assembly will be wrapped up with an award ceremony for the winners of 81 nominations of the best medical establishments and health care professionals.
